Seven of Swords
UPRIGHT
A figure tiptoes away from a camp carrying five swords, two more left behind. The Seven of Swords is strategy or deception — the cunning move, the workaround, sometimes the outright theft. The card does not always condemn; some battles are best won by walking off with the swords rather than crossing them.
REVERSED
Reversed, the Seven of Swords is the deception exposed, or the confession finally offered. The card can name a person caught out, a workaround whose corners are no longer cut cleanly, or the rarer reading of a querent who has decided to walk back to the camp and return what they took.
