A knight in flaming armor rides a rearing horse, his staff lifted, his face set on the horizon. The Knight of Wands is action in motion — bold, fast, charismatic, and not always interested in details. The card honors the charge while warning that the rider does not always know where the horse is going.

REVERSED

Reversed, the Knight of Wands is recklessness, impulsivity, or a charge undertaken without the gear or the plan to finish it. The card can name a person who burns hot and leaves quickly, a relationship swept into existence by force of personality, or a project launched on adrenaline and abandoned when the fuel ran out.
