Knight of Swords
Knight of Swords
UPRIGHT
A knight charges at full gallop, sword raised, wind tearing at his horse's mane. The Knight of Swords is decisive action under conviction — the principled charge, the lawyer's argument, the bold move made in the name of a clear idea. The card honors courage but warns that the horse rides faster than the rider can see.
REVERSED
Reversed, the Knight of Swords is the charge undertaken without thought, or aggression dressed up as principle. The card can name a person whose intelligence has hardened into combativeness, an argument launched with no plan for landing, or the casualties of a campaign that valued speed over accuracy.
