Ace of Swords
UPRIGHT
A hand from a cloud grips an upright sword crowned with a wreath, mountains rising below. The Ace of Swords is the moment of clarity — the breakthrough, the truth named, the decision that finally cuts what had to be cut. The blade is double-edged, and the card honors honesty even when it costs.
REVERSED
Reversed, the Ace of Swords is clarity dulled, or truth used as a weapon. The card can name confusion, communication that misses, or a person who has spoken the right words at the wrong moment and made the cut worse. The remedy is to set the sword down and look again at what actually needs separating.
